The Sound Effect Band (Private Event)

A 7-piece band (male and female vocalists, sax, guitar, bass, keyboard, drums) featuring a mix of rock, pop, R&B, soul, funk, motown, jazz and ballads from today back through the 1960s. We focus on songs which are dancing favorites to keep the dance floor full throughout your event. Suggested Rate: $1425 for 2 hour minimum, $425 for each additional hour.

The Sound Effect Trio / Quartet (Private Event)

For more subtle background music featuring jazz standards, The Sound Effect Trio or Quartet can provide your event with music during the cocktail hour and dinner, or when music is not the feature of your event. The trio consists of keyboard, bass and drums. The quartet adds a saxophone to the instrumentation. Suggested Rate: $700 for 2 hour minimum (trio), $200 for each additional hour (trio). Adding saxophone to make a quartet, $75 per hour. 2 hour minimum does not apply when booked with full band.

Special Song Requests

When booking The Sound Effect Band, we are happy to work up arrangements of special songs you'd like to request, given that we have sufficient advance time to create the arrangements and rehearse them. We are happy to work up one special request for the third hour of band time booked at no extra charge, or two songs for a four hour booking.

Platinum - 1 1/2 hours of The Sound Effect Quartet for cocktails and/or dinner, followed by 4 hours of The Sound Effect Band. Includes 2 Special Request Songs. Suggested Rate: $2700 for Platinum Package.

Gold - 1 1/2 hours of The Sound Effect Quartet for cocktails and/or dinner, followed by 3 hours of The Sound Effect Band. Includes 1 Special Request Song. Suggested Rate: $2350 for Gold Package.

Silver - 1 hour of The Sound Effect Quartet for cocktails and/or dinner, followed by 2 hours of The Sound Effect Band. Suggested Rate: $1750 for Silver Package.
